Raipur : Mahtari Vandan Yojana of Chhattisgarh Government is empowering women economically as well as providing them the basis of respect and self-reliance. Due to the effective implementation of the scheme, positive changes are being seen in the lives of women across the state. Shyambati Korram, resident of Gram Panchayat Banchapai of Kondagaon district, is an inspiring example of this.
Korram, the beneficiary of Mahtari Vandan Yojana, is regularly receiving the assistance amount of one thousand rupees per month in her bank account under the scheme. With this financial support, they are able to fulfill their daily needs easily, which has developed a sense of confidence and satisfaction in their lives.
Korram told that she is depositing the amount received from the scheme in the account of Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana with the aim of securing the bright future of her two daughters. Apart from this, provision of nutritious food is also possible with this assistance amount, due to which there has been a significant improvement in the health level of the entire family. For Shyambati Korram, educated till 12th, Mahtari Vandan Yojana has emerged as a strong foundation in the direction of self-reliance.
