Varanasi. Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda recently said in one of his statements that it is difficult to seek help for his safety from those who want to kill him. Shankaracharya has given this reaction in the context of sexual harassment allegations filed against him by Jagadguru Rambhadracharya’s disciple and Shakumbhari Peethadhishwar Ashutosh Brahmachari.
It is noteworthy that Ashutosh has accused Shankaracharya of sexually exploiting two disciples. After hearing the case, the court has reserved its decision and on February 21 it will be decided whether an FIR will be filed against Shankaracharya or the case will be dismissed. Here Shankaracharya, while talking to the media, said that the person making the allegations himself has a criminal history. According to him, Ashutosh has been in contact with people involved in cow smuggling and cow slaughter and has also faced serious allegations like taking bribe to allow trucks to cross. Shankaracharya said that making allegations by such a person speaks a lot in itself.
He said that the campaign is going on against him because he talks about cow protection and raises the slogan of stopping cow slaughter. Shankaracharya also clarified that the attacks against him are ideologically motivated, as those who are involved in cow slaughter will protest.
He says, when you talk about protecting mother cows, it is natural that elements related to cow slaughter will become active. This is not a surprise.
