Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the country is moving forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mahakaal Lok, built under his guidance, has made Ujjain a center of global spiritual tourism. By the grace of Mokshadayini Shipra Maiya, Ujjain is now getting ready for Simhastha-2028. With the blessings of Lord Mahakal, Bhoomi Pujan of Hariyakhedi Water Augmentation Project being constructed at a cost of Rs 1133.67 crore for the preparations of Simhastha is being done. This project will provide pure drinking water to the devotees and citizens during Simhastha-2028. Also, water supply to every house in the city will be ensured for a long time. The management of Ujjain for Simhastha will increase the pride of the entire state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the program organized on the occasion of Bhoomi Pujan of Water Augmentation Project in village Hariyakhedi of Ujjain. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated and performed bhoomi pujan of 11 development works costing about Rs 47.23 crore.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while paying tribute to Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay on his death anniversary, said that following the path of Antyodaya shown by him, our government is engaged in the welfare of the poorest of the poor. Project Samvardhan is being started in Ujjain district with the aim of strengthening maternal and child health. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has symbolically organized activities like honoring the meritorious students and distributing kits to the sanitation workers to encourage them. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Dhanvantari Institute of Ayurveda will be opened in Ujjain. A big gift for the study and treatment of Ayurveda is going to be received very soon through Prime Minister Modi.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is developing all the places associated with Lord Krishna as pilgrimages. The government has set an ideal example by banning liquor in Ujjain, Orchha and other religious places of the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that employment-based industries are being encouraged to provide employment to the youth and sisters of the state. Sisters will get the opportunity to work when a readymade garment unit starts near Ujjain. He said that Akashvani Ujjain broadcast the programs of Baba Mahakal. It is a matter of happiness that the youth of Ujjain are showcasing their talent through Akashvani. News related to Simhastha will also reach the people through All India Radio.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that devotees from all over the world will come to Ujjain in Simhastha 2028. The state government is completing all preparations for this in time. Ujjain is the city of Baba Mahakal and Emperor Vikramaditya. Development work for all basic facilities is being done under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. 5 crore devotees who come to Simhastha will be able to take bath at the ghats of Kshipra. A small and a big bridge are being built near Ramghat. He said that the grand Geeta Bhawan will be inaugurated in Ujjain next month in March. Bhoomi pujan of Ujjain-Indore four lane road will also be done soon. Ujjain will also be a part of the metropolitan city. All these works will prove to be milestones in the development of the city.
In the program chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, it was told that the Hariyakhedi project will be completed in 24 months. Two new intake wells are being constructed at Hariyakhedi and Gambhir. Under this, new water purification plants and 17 new overhead tanks will be built. Under the scheme, a new distribution network of 708 km pipeline will be developed and the old ACP pipeline will also be replaced. The project will provide 49,087 new domestic water service connections. Under the Hariyakhedi Water Augmentation Project, Silarkhedi, Gambhir, Undasa and Sahibkhedi will be used as the main water sources to ensure uninterrupted water supply during Simhastha and beyond. During Simhastha-2028, the effective population of Ujjain city is estimated to be around 9.65 lakh and the temporary population of the fair area is estimated to be around 21.83 lakh. During the days of the divine royal bath, there is a possibility of arrival of about 2 crore 28 lakh devotees in a single day. About 20 villages near Ujjain have also been included in the scheme.
MLA Anil Jain Kaluhera said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is determined for the development of the entire state including Ujjain. In view of Simhastha-2028, all basic facilities including roads, sewers, clean drinking water are being developed in the city of Mahakal. The poor are getting permanent houses in the state. Employment is being provided to the youth and an amount of Rs 1500 is being sent to the beloved sisters in their bank accounts every month. Former minister Paras Jain, Ujjain Mayor Mukesh Tatwal, Municipal Corporation Chairman Kalavati Yadav, many public representatives and a large number of local people were present in the programme.
