Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Malwa has its own special importance in the industrial development of the state. The favorable climate and geographical location of Malwa region is extremely suitable for industries. Transport and logistics facilities have been strengthened by reducing the distance through 8-lane expressways to metropolitan cities like Delhi and Mumbai. Transport and infrastructure are being further strengthened through new projects by the state government. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Pithampur Industrial Conclave and book release ceremony organized by Pithampur Industrial Organization in Indore on Sunday.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the wind of development of every section of the industry, women, farmers and poor is blowing in the country. Through trade agreements and new trade deals with various global organizations, India is continuously moving towards progress and hoisting its flag on the world stage. The country is moving towards the golden period of trade and commerce.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi, special priority is being given to industrial development in Madhya Pradesh. The scope of industries is being continuously expanded, so that the concept of industrial development is not limited to Pithampur only but establishes new dimensions in the entire state and country. Our government is committed to taking the state to new heights in the industrial sector and also realizing the possibilities in emerging areas like space. He said that efforts for overall development of the industrial belt through MPIDC will provide new achievements to the state. These efforts will prove effective in making Madhya Pradesh an industrially friendly state and will give a new direction to the development of entrepreneurship.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Dr. Gautam Kothari has presented the emotional journey of 40 years of Pithampur in a lively form through the practice of literature. Even in the decade of 1983-84, when there was lack of basic facilities, the industrial belt of Pithampur established its identity on the strength of struggle, hard work, patience and innovation. Today, Pithampur has made a special place in the country and the state in every field from pharmaceutical to automobile.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav praised the establishment of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) building dedicated to the field of chartered accountancy and said that this building is providing new strength to financial discipline, transparency and professional excellence.
Release of memorial book based on 40 years of development journey
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav released the memorial book “Pithampur: Zero to Zenith – A Journey of 40 Years” written by Dr. Gautam Kothari, President of Pithampur Industrial Organization, based on the 40 years of development journey of Pithampur Industrial Area. This book presents a detailed document of the industrial growth story, achievements and gradual development of Pithampur.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was honored by Pithampur Industrial Organization for his remarkable work in the field of accelerating the industrial development of the state and investment promotion. On this occasion, the officials of the organization presented shawl, quince and memento and thanked them for their leadership and commitment in the industrial development of the state.
Awarded ‘Anchors of Industrial Excellence’
“Anchors of Industrial Excellence” award was given for the effective efforts made to give a new direction to industrial development and investment promotion in the state. In particular, 40 leading industrialists who were founding members of the Pithampur Industrial Association (PAS)—between the mid-1980s and mid-1990s—were honored for their visionary leadership and contribution in laying the strong foundation of the industrial city.
‘Industrial Development Anthem of Madhya Pradesh displayed
During the programme, the anthem of industrial development of Madhya Pradesh was formally performed. This motivational anthem has been composed by Dr. Gautam Kothari, President of Pithampur Industrial Organization, which presents an inspiring picture of the industrial development of the state.
Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development Savitri Thakur, Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silavat, MP Indore Shankar Lalwani, Mayor Indore Municipal Corporation Pushyamitra Bhargava and the industry, investors, policy makers and distinguished citizens of the state were present in the program.
