Bhopal. It is going to be a historic and proud moment for India and especially Madhya Pradesh, when LNCT University, the largest private university in Central India, will host a big event of international level. The 61st Independence Day of Gambia will be celebrated grandly at LNCT University on 14th February 2026. This will be the first time that the National Independence Day of an African country like Gambia will be organized in a private university campus in India. During this time, Aji Fautumata Jouff, First Secretary Gambia Embassy, Omar Sampo Ceesay, Second Secretary Gambia Embassy and Indrani Moule, Advisor, African Students Association, Gambia Embassy will also be present.

Gambia Embassy High Commissioner Anshu Jawar himself has selected LNCT University to organize this important national festival of the Gambia country located in West Africa. This selection not only reflects the academic quality and global identity of LNCT University, but also symbolizes the strengthening academic and cultural ties between India and African countries.

Currently, more than 200 students from African countries are pursuing higher education in LNCT University.
