Ashoknagar: Indore Narcotics team raided Kadarana village of Chanderi and exposed MD Drugs factory. The team has seized drugs worth approximately Rs 4 crore from the spot. This high-tech MD drugs factory was being operated just a few kilometers away from Chanderi police station, but even the Ashoknagar police had no clue about it. Indore Narcotics team raided the illegal drugs factory located in Kadarana village of Chanderi on Tuesday night and succeeded in arresting two accused.
2 accused arrested with pistol
Based on the information of the informer, Indore Narcotics team reached the hideout of Raghavendra Singh in Kadarana late night, where a large number of narcotics were found at the illegal drugs factory. In this, 1 kg 282 grams of MD drugs, 2 kg 579 grams of raw material, 2.45 kg of chemicals, a licensed pistol, 15 live cartridge magazines, a Honda car and modern equipment for making drugs were found, which were confiscated. 30-year-old Priyanshu Jain, resident of Chanderi and 38-year-old Raghavendra Singh Pawar, resident of Kadarana have also been arrested from the factory.
Ashoknagar’s name was also associated with Bhopal drugs factory
In August 2025, action was taken against the MD Drugs factory in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, from where 61.2 kg of MD drugs worth Rs 92 crore were seized. This drugs factory was operating in Jagdishpur, some distance away from Bhopal. In this action, two accused were arrested, one of whom was Engineer Faizal Qureshi, a resident of Mungawali, Ashoknagar. This is the second action in this entire case, in which Ashoknagar’s name has come up in the MD Drugs narcotics case.
