Jaipur : Once again the havoc of high speed was seen in Chaksu area of the district. Five people, including a woman, died tragically in a horrific road accident that occurred on Saturday morning near Tigaria turn on National Highway 52. The speeding car collided with the dumper moving ahead, due to which the car was blown to pieces. The collision was so severe that four people died on the spot. According to the police, all the people in the car were residents of Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh) and were coming towards Jaipur for darshan. The primary reason for the accident is said to be the driver taking a nap.
The accident happened at 5:30 in the morning: Chaksu police station in-charge Manohar Lal Meghwal said that the accident took place near Tigaria turn at around 5.30 am on Saturday morning. The car was going on the Kota-Jaipur route, when the driver dozed off and the vehicle rammed into the dumper moving ahead. After the collision, the car was completely damaged and the bodies were badly trapped in the car. With the help of a crane, the vehicle was removed and traffic was made smooth. After the accident, there was a long jam on the highway, which was cleared by the police after a lot of effort.
Identification of the dead: The deceased in the accident have been identified. In which Reshma Srivastava (55), wife Akhilesh Srivastava, Piyush son Rajesh Rai, Rajak Rahul son Bablu Rajak, driver Anurag and Sanu, all the deceased are said to be residents of Jabalpur. Rajak Rahul was a resident of Jabalpur City area near Khermai Temple.
Khatushyamji was going after seeing Mahakal: According to the police, Palak Srivastava, daughter of the deceased Reshma Srivastava, told that her mother had gone out for darshan at Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain two days ago. After having darshan on 13 February, he was going to visit Khatu Shyam ji temple (Ringas, Sikar). Shanu, who was traveling in the car, had earlier been Reshma’s driver. Rajak Rahul was Anurag’s friend and Piyush was his acquaintance. The family members have been informed about the accident. It is being told that Palak has not yet been informed about her mother’s death, she has only been informed that she is injured.

Screams and rescue operation: The sound of the collision was so loud that people nearby and other drivers passing by immediately ran for help. The scene inside the car was very heartbreaking. After a lot of effort, the police took out the people trapped in the car. Four people died on the spot. A woman was seriously injured, who was immediately taken to the nearest hospital with the help of an ambulance, but during treatment, the doctors declared her dead.
2 also died in Dudu: A pickup vehicle loaded with plywood overturned due to a sudden tire burst near Datri on National Highway-48 in Dudu area, causing a tragic road accident. In the accident, two women died on the spot after being buried under the plywood, while two to three people are said to be injured. As soon as the information was received, duty officer Ram Avtar Chaudhary reached the spot and with the help of a crane, the buried people were taken out. The injured were immediately sent to Dudu sub-district hospital, while the bodies of the deceased have been kept in the mortuary. The police is investigating the matter and the cause of the accident is being investigated.
