Raipur : Korba Nagar MLA, State Commerce, Industry, Public Enterprises, Commercial Tax (Excise) and Labor Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan will perform the Bhoomi Pujan of various construction works worth Rs 3.08 crore in various wards of Municipal Corporation Korba on Friday, March 06, 2026.
Minister Dewangan will perform Bhoomi Pujan of various construction works in ward number 56 (Primary School Agarkhar) under Darri Zone of Municipal Corporation Korba on Friday at 3.30 pm. These include construction of boys and girls toilets in 32 government schools of Darri Zone under Municipal Corporation Korba area (cost Rs 1 crore 60 lakh) and construction of kitchen shed in 21 government schools under Darri Zone (cost Rs 73 lakh).
Minister Dewangan will reach Saraswati Shishu Mandir, CSEB, Korba at 4.30 pm and perform Bhoomi Pujan of various development works under Kosabari zone of Municipal Corporation Korba. These include building construction work in Saraswati Shishu Mandir Vidyalaya under CSEB in Ward No. 19 (approximately Rs 25 lakh), road construction and shed construction work in Ward No. 22 (Rs 10 lakh), greenbelt construction work in the main road of Ward No. 24 Nehru Nagar (Rs 30 lakh) and additional building construction and renovation work in Ward No. 21 (former Ward No. 19) Gayatri Yajnapeeth CSEB Colony Korba. (Approximately Rs. 10 lakh) are included.
