State Commerce, Industry, Labour, Excise and Public Enterprises Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan and Mayor Sanjudevi Rajput performed the bhoomi pujan and inaugurated these development works. He also gave instructions to the officers to complete the work within the time limit while working with full quality.

On this occasion, Industries Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan said that development work should be done in the ward as per the demands and needs of the ward residents and the general public, this is our top priority, I consider it my first duty to fulfill the demands of the public. He said that during the assembly elections, the demand for construction of a community building was placed before me by the citizens of Shivnagar Birsamunda Mohalla and Shiv Foundation, honoring their demand, this building has been built at a cost of Rs 25 lakh, today this building has been dedicated to the service of the public here, now the people of the colony have got a convenient place for their various events and programs. Minister Dewangan further said in his address that under the blessings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and the guidance of Deputy Chief Minister and Urban Administration Minister Arun Sao, there is no shortage of funds for the development of Korba Municipal Corporation area, whatever proposals are presented before him by me or the Mayor, they are getting quick approval, due to which rapid development is taking place in Korba. He further said that Prime Minister Modi has removed the sufferings of the people by implementing dozens of public welfare schemes in the country, while historic work is also being done towards the all-round development of the country.
On this occasion, Mayor Sanjudevi Rajput said in her address that State Industries Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan has always been dedicated to the development of Korba, he has worked continuously for the development of Korba and to provide all the basic facilities in the ward settlements. Mayor Rajput, while addressing the citizens present, further said that the hope and confidence with which you have given your blessings to me and Industry Minister Dewangan, your trust and hope will never be broken and I assure you that we will always be seen standing with you in your happiness and sorrow.
On this occasion, a large number of citizens including Councilor Narendra Dewangan, Satyendra Dubey, Ward Councilors Seemabai Kanwar and Chandadevi, Councilors Mukund Singh Kanwar and Janak Singh Rajput, Manoj Lahere, Prafulla Tiwari, Tulsi Thakur, Narayan Singh Thakur, Ishwar Sahu, Hetram Chandra, Kishore Sahu, Bhupendra Sahu, Dhanbai Nirmalkar were present.
Bhoomipujan of development work will be done on Sunday
Industries Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan and Mayor Sanjudevi Rajput will perform the Bhoomi Pujan of the work worth Rs 87.5 lakhs related to the drinking water system to be done in TP Nagar zone of Municipal Corporation Korba and Ward No. 09 under Korba on Sunday, February 08. This program of Bhoomi Pujan has been organized at Tagore Udyan located in T.P. Nagar from 03 pm.
