Bhopal : Urban Development and Housing and Dhar district in-charge minister Kailash Vijayvargiya has said that the establishment of PM Mitra Park in Dhar district will give a new impetus to progress. He said that this project, to be built at a cost of about Rs 2 thousand crore, will witness an investment of more than Rs 10 thousand crore. This will provide direct employment opportunities to 50 thousand people and indirect employment opportunities to more than 1.5 lakh people. Every modern facility related to thread, cloth, spinning-weaving, dyeing, design and textile manufacturing will be available in PM Mitra Park. Minister in-charge Vijayvargiya was addressing the meeting of the District Development Advisory Committee in Dhar on Saturday. MLA Neena Verma was also present in the meeting.
Minister Vijayvargiya said that in the last two years, remarkable achievements have been achieved in the fields of religion, tourism, industrial, agriculture, health, education, urban and rural development in the district. Discussing the District Development Advisory Committee, the Minister in charge said that experts from all fields have been given place in the committee. The committee will play an important role in the rapid development of the district. Collector Priyank Mishra told in the meeting that under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, 362 kilometers of roads have been improved by the renovation of 122 roads in the year 2024-25, and 118 kilometers of roads have been improved by the renovation of 45 roads in the year 2025-26. Under Jal Jeevan Mission, tap connections have been given to 3 lakh 3 thousand 690 houses. Construction of 16 thousand 250 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in urban areas has been completed. In the meeting, District Panchayat President Sardar Singh Meda and committee members gave useful suggestions regarding the development of the district.
