Raipur : Under the 13th phase of Malaria-free Chhattisgarh campaign, the government is fully committed to providing health services even in the most sensitive and remote areas of Sukma district. The Chief Medical and Health Officer of Sukma district himself along with his team crossed the river and walked about 2 km to reach the villages and inspected the actual situation of the campaign. The team visited highly sensitive villages like Miriwada, Etpal of Sector Gadiras and Keralapal and Damapara of Phulbagadi.
Health education given to school and ashram children
During the inspection, the team explained the importance of health and cleanliness to the children of the school and ashram. The message was given to the children to use mosquito nets regularly. Follow all precautions to prevent malaria. If symptoms of illness appear, immediately inform a health worker or contact the nearest health center.
During this time, instructions were given to enroll the malnourished children of Anganwadi center in NRC, so that they can get complete treatment and nutritional food on time.
During the inspection, when a child was found positive for malaria, his health was checked and his first dose of medicine was given, which is a clear proof of the responsibility and activeness of the administration.
Campaign continues even in difficult circumstances
Reaching the villages on foot after crossing the river is a clear indication that the administration is continuously working on the mission of taking health services to every household despite difficult geographical conditions.
