Air India Emergency Landing: A technical fault came to light in an Air India aircraft after taking off from Delhi, after which it was safely landed back at Delhi airport after making an emergency landing. Air India has made alternative arrangements to take all the passengers to their destination. Air India spokesperson has given this information.
Air India spokesperson said that on December 22, Air India flight AI887 from Delhi to Mumbai returned to Delhi due to technical snag after take off, as per standard operating procedure. The aircraft landed safely in Delhi and the passengers and crew disembarked safely.
Safe landing at Delhi airport
Actually, flight AI 887 was to go from Delhi to Mumbai. But within a few minutes of the flight, a technical fault occurred, after which a full emergency was declared. All necessary arrangements were made as per protocol. After this, it was safely landed back at Delhi Airport at 6.52 am. Passengers and crew members were taken out.
Even before this, many Air India aircraft have faced technical problems. On which improvements were made. This year, Air India aircraft has become the victim of a major accident. The plane being taken from Ahmedabad to London crashed just minutes after take off, in which all except one passenger lost their lives.
