Strict campaign of administration in Hathras along with police force, remove encroachment, created stir

Hathras. With the aim of making the city encroachment free, the administration along with the police force launched a massive encroachment removal campaign. This campaign was conducted on Aligarh Road under the direction of Deputy District Magistrate Sadar Rajbahadur. Municipality officers, employees and police team were present on the spot during the campaign. As soon as information about the action was received, there was chaos among roadside shopkeepers and temporary vendors. Seeing the strictness of the administration, many shopkeepers started collecting their goods themselves, while some removed their carts and temporary structures from the spot. During the campaign, the municipal administration removed the cots, tents, tarpaulins and tents installed on the roadside and took them into their possession. The administration says that due to encroachment on the roadside, traffic was being disrupted and the general public was facing problems. Keeping this in mind, this action was taken. The officials gave a clear warning to the encroachers to remove the encroachments themselves as soon as possible, otherwise strict legal action would be taken against them. Officials also said that the campaign against encroachment will continue in the city and no one will be allowed to violate the rules. While the common people heaved a sigh of relief due to this action of the administration, there was panic among the encroachers.
