Raipur : Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has approved a total of Rs 12 crore 69 lakh for the construction of four major roads of the district to give new impetus to the all-round development of Jashpur district. This decision will strengthen rural-urban connectivity, make transportation easier and boost the economic progress of the region. The road projects approved by Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai include Rs 3 crore 86 lakh for the 3 km long Kandora to Arakona access road, Rs 3 crore 77 lakh for the 3 km long Mado to Dhengni access road, Rs 2 crore 20 lakh for the 1.9 km long access road from Malaria Basti of Charaidand to NH-43 and Rs 3 crore for the 2.86 km long Behrakhar Atal Chowk to Kurumdhora access road. Crore 76 lakh rupees are involved. The construction of these roads will facilitate transportation in remote rural areas, thereby facilitating access to trade, education and health services.
