Darbhanga. Kamasundari Devi, the last queen of the heritage of Darbhanga dynasty, who opened the doors of her treasury and donated about 600 kg of gold to the government on the appeal of the Government of India during the Indo-China war, merged into Panchatatva. The last rites of Maharani Kamasundari Devi, the third and last wife of Darbhanga Maharaj Kameshwar Singh, were conducted today with full Hindu customs at the Madheshwar courtyard in the Darbhanga royal complex. He was given a state honor by the Bihar government and his grandson Ratneshwar Singh lit his funeral pyre. Bihar government minister Dilip Jaiswal also reached Madheshwar courtyard and prayed for the peace of the soul of the Queen. The Darbhanga royal family also built many roads, educational institutions and universities from their personal property.

However, before the last journey the atmosphere at the Queen’s residence became tense. Due to family dispute, the argument escalated so much that the matter reached the point of fighting. An altercation and clash was seen between the two parties in the presence of the police administration. The reason for the fight is said to be a dispute over property and inheritance. Police immediately intervened and controlled the situation and separated both the parties. While there is discussion in the whole city about this fight, the good work done by the royal family also came into controversy.
