PM Modi’s taunt in Parliament, comment on Kharge’s age

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while replying to the discussion on the motion of thanks on the President’s address in the Rajya Sabha, took a dig at the age of Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge. He said, ‘Considering Kharge ji’s age, if he wants to raise slogans even while sitting, he can do so. There are many young leaders behind.’ PM Modi said, ‘Those who got tired, are gone. But they will have to answer as to how the condition of the country was maintained in such a way that no country in the world wanted to come to compromise with us. You might have tried, but no one wanted to come with you. The countries of the world are no longer making deals with India like this. One reason behind this is that if a developed country deals with a developing country, it gets a bigger market.
