Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the glory of Nohaleshwar Mahadev is such that one who comes here once, feels like coming here again and again. Nohaleshwar Mahotsav is not only a celebration of faith but also of local culture, tradition and social harmony. Our government is committed to the conservation of places of faith and tourism development. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the farmers’ conference organized on the occasion of Nohaleshwar Mahotsav fair in village Nohta of Damoh district on Friday. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the fair by lighting the lamp. Also visited the development exhibition organized by various departments in Nohaleshwar temple complex and fair complex.
On the demand of the regional people, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced to make Nohta a Municipal Council after trial. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Geeta Bhawan will be constructed in Damoh at a cost of Rs 2 crore. A new irrigation project worth Rs 600 crore will be developed by increasing the capacity of Bandakpur-Semarkho reservoir in Damoh district. With this, the fields in 33 villages of the district will get ample water for irrigation. Water sports, boat club and other tourism activities will be developed in Damoh at a cost of Rs 10 crore. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that new stadiums will be built in Tendukheda and Hata to promote sports activities. In the program, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also congratulated the famous bhajan singer Shehnaz Akhtar.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is working with commitment for the development of entire Bundelkhand along with Damoh. A new scheme worth Rs 165 crore has been approved in Tendukheda, Damoh. A new four lane has also been approved for Damoh. Industries are being promoted along with tourism in Damoh. The state government is making equal efforts in all sectors including education, health, agriculture. Organic markets are being set up in Damoh district to promote organic farming. Till now, products worth Rs 28 lakh have been sold in 69 organic markets in the district. He appreciated the arrangement of e-token made by the district administration for distribution of fertilizers to the farmers.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that farmers are our food providers. The country will become prosperous only due to their happiness and prosperity. He said that along with farming, we are also encouraging animal husbandry. Increasing agriculture, animal husbandry and food processing is the top priority of our government. Animal husbandry will increase milk production. We have set a target of increasing the milk production of the state from 9 to 20 percent. Our government is continuously making efforts in the direction of animal husbandry, cow husbandry and cow protection. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi never compromised with the interests of farmers in relations with any country. Both the farmers in the fields and the soldiers on the border have equal respect for us. The state government is also taking special care of the health of the farmers. Our government always stands with the people in giving impetus to development works.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the place of mothers and sisters is paramount in Indian culture. We also give our country the status of mother and honor it by calling it Bharat Mata. Mothers and sisters are the dignity of our family. He said that our government is always with the beloved sisters. Every month an assistance amount of Rs 1500 is being given to the dear sisters. With her hard work and devotion, she takes care of the entire clan, clan and family.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that with the development of the industrial area in Damoh, the youth of the area will get new employment opportunities. If a dry field gets water, the crop becomes like gold. Damoh district will get water for irrigation from the country’s first river linking Ken-Betwa Link Project. He said that for the first time the state government started celebrating Shri Krishna Janmashtami and Geeta Jayanti with grandeur. Madhya Pradesh is the only state in the country which is preserving heritage along with development.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Nohaleshwar temple of Nohta is more than 1100 years old, which was built by Queen Nohla of the Kalchuri Empire. The tourism of this region is getting new energy by organizing Nohaleshwar Mahotsav. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a new miracle has happened with the restoration of cheetahs on the land of Madhya Pradesh. 20 cheetahs were brought from abroad to Kuno National Park in Sheopur, now 35 cheetahs are running on the soil of the state, the family of cheetahs is increasing. A few days ago, female cheetah Asha has given birth to 5 cubs. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that leopards will be released in Nauradehi Sanctuary in June this year. Madhya Pradesh ranks top in the country in terms of tiger, cheetah, vulture and crocodile. He said that the state government has made a home-stay scheme to increase wildlife tourism. This will provide employment to people and they will be able to accommodate tourists by making home-stays in their homes. Government grants are also being given to the beneficiaries preparing home-stays. He asked the home-stay operators to provide proper hospitality to the tourists when they come. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the tourist areas where home-stays are running, the income of villagers from home-stays is increasing rapidly.
Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture, Tourism and Religious Trust and Endowments Dharmendra Singh Lodhi said that the state is moving on the path of continuous development under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Making progress in the field of energy, Madhya Pradesh has today ensured availability of more than 26 thousand MW electricity. Interest free loans are being given to farmers in Madhya Pradesh. He said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is a ‘man of ideas’. He has implemented many public welfare schemes.
Damoh MP Rahul Singh Lodhi said that the medical college is getting ready in Damoh. The biggest problem in Bundelkhand was water, which is now getting resolved. The Ken-Betwa link, the country’s first river interlinking project, will provide adequate water for irrigation and drinking water to more than 300 villages of Damoh district. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, every section of the poor, farmers, youth and women of Madhya Pradesh is getting the benefits of the public welfare schemes of the government. Shyam Shivhare said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav had announced the development work of Jageshwar Mahadev Temple at a cost of Rs 100 crore, the work of which is going on.
