BJP shares foreign media reports on football icon Messi’s event

New Delhi. Famous football player and icon Lionel Messi’s India tour started from Kolkata, but due to the chaos in the stadium, it has become a headache for Mamata government. BJP is continuously attacking the government. In this sequence, Leader of Opposition in Bengal Assembly, Suvendu Adhikari, while sharing the reports of global media on this entire incident, wrote that Mamata government has made Kolkata a laughing stock in front of the whole world.
Suvendra held Mamata government responsible for this entire chaos. He wrote- Mamta administration’s abject failure at Salt Lake Stadium has made Kolkata a laughing stock at the global level. He and his incompetent ministers conspired to turn a public function into a private one. His actions led to chaos in the stadium. Calling it an insult to India and Kolkata on the global stage, he targeted Mamata. He said that apologizing and cleverly shifting the blame on someone else or making someone a scapegoat will not be able to hide the incompetence of the TMC government.
West Bengal Assembly Leader of Opposition wrote a letter to Governor CV Anand Bose demanding an independent judicial inquiry into the administrative incompetence and public humiliation of citizens during the event. He alleged in his letter that this stadium is for public events. But it was turned into a private court for the VIP culture of politics. Because of this, people who paid money and bought expensive tickets to see their favorite stars got nothing but disappointment.
Let us tell you that the first program of Messi during his visit to India was at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. People reached the stadium to get a glimpse of their favorite football star. However, his excitement turned to frustration when Messi left the stadium after only 15 minutes. After this the angry fans started throwing water bottles. He accused the organizers that earlier it was told that the program would last for about 45 minutes, but Massey left within 15 minutes and the entire time he remained on the ground, he was surrounded by the families of TMC leaders and VIPs.

Mamta Banerjee should be arrested: Himanta Sarma
BJP is continuously targeting TMC and the government over the chaos spread during the Kolkata program of football icon Lionel Messi. In the same sequence, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Sarma has also attacked CM Mamata Banerjee for this incident. Alleging complete breakdown of law and order in the state, he said that a good program got spoiled because of the VIP culture of TMC leaders. He said that the state Chief Minister, Home Minister and Kolkata Police Commissioner should be arrested in this case. Not only this, when Sarma was asked whether he was protesting against the arrest of the organizer of the event? Responding to this he said that he is neither opposing it nor supporting it. According to Sarma, the first responsibility for this incident lies with the State Home Minister and Police Commissioner.
