Raipur : The Central Government’s Pradhan Mantri Bima Yojana is providing a strong support to needy families by providing financial security in difficult circumstances. In case of sudden accident or untimely death, this scheme not only provides financial relief but also gives courage to the affected families to overcome the difficult times of life.

In the same sequence, two families of Kondagaon district were provided financial assistance under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and one family was provided financial assistance under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana. Due to which dependent families could get financial relief. Purnima Mandvi, resident of village Umargaon, was provided insurance amount after the death of her husband late Ratan Ram Mandvi. Similarly, Shri Sadhuram, resident of village Singhanpur, post Umargaon, district Kondagaon, was given insurance assistance on the sudden demise of his wife late Dhasin Bai, who died due to drowning in water. At the same time, Mangaldai Mandvi, resident of village Doomar Godara, after the death of her husband late Andoram Mandvi, who died in a road accident, the beneficiaries got the benefit of insurance amount under the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana. In all three cases, an insurance amount of Rs 2 lakh each was sanctioned to each family of eligible beneficiaries. Last day, checks were provided to the dependents of the three families by the district administration.

The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude towards the government and administration on receiving the insurance amount and said that this assistance received in this difficult time has proved to be very helpful for them. She told that after the death of her husband, many challenges had arisen in front of the family like livelihood and children’s education, hence the insurance amount has brought a lot of relief to her.
