India’s religious world has been prosperous due to the glory of saints and sages – Bagde

Jaipur . Governor Haribhau Bagde participated in the peace and harmony ritual organized in the presence of Sadhvi Dr. Kumud Lata Ji Maharaj. He paid obeisance to Mahasati Dr. Kumud Lata and took her blessings. Bagde said during this time that Jainism is not a religion but a culture.
He called for assimilating the ideals of Jainism like asceticism, non-violence, non-religion etc. He said that due to the virtues of the saints and sages, India’s religion has always been rich and prosperous in knowledge. He described the peace and harmony ritual as a great tradition of Indian culture. The Governor said that rituals are not an act, but one has to mold oneself into a discipline. He called for working together for the progress and welfare of human beings. He said that knowledge is not just a collection of information, but knowledge is that which illuminates life. Describing the life of Sadhvi Dr. Kumud Lata ji as inspiring, he also congratulated the people who have done great work for the society and religion.
