Reva. Diesel and petrol were being traded illegally on the border of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. After this, the government administration has been alerted and the police has started swift action in the border area. From today, the police started a campaign in which they have taken strict action against those doing illegal business on the border of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. The police have seized about 500 liters of diesel and petrol in big drums being transported from Uttar Pradesh to Madhya Pradesh. After this, the police came down to the ground and raided those shops in the border area, where illegal business of selling petrol and diesel from big gallons to small bottles was going on. This illegal business not only causes loss to the state’s revenue but is also playing with people’s lives.

Actually, there is a lot of difference in the prices of petrol and diesel in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. The petrol which is sold for Rs 108 in Madhya Pradesh is sold for Rs 95 in Uttar Pradesh. The price of diesel is Rs 96 in Madhya Pradesh and it is sold for Rs 88 in Uttar Pradesh. Black marketing people go to the border of Uttar Pradesh and bring petrol and diesel at cheap prices and here in Madhya Pradesh, it was being sold openly, in which even small packets of betel leaf were being sold in the border areas. After this, the police took strict action and seized diesel petrol being sold illegally and started a campaign under which action will be taken against people involved in illegal business.
