Rajnandgaon: Continuous campaigns are being conducted against red terror in Chhattisgarh. Meanwhile, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh outpost police is conducting a continuous and effective anti-Naxal campaign with the aim of making the district Naxal-free. Under this campaign, the police has achieved another big success, in which the conspiracy of Naxalites to commit a major crime has been foiled in time.
Security forces recovered Naxalites’ dump
The hill of Parvindih situated under the police station Mohla area, which is full of dense forests and difficult geographical conditions, has been the main stronghold of Naxal activities in the past. In this same area, a dump of explosive material was kept hidden by Naxalites to prepare claymore mine (pipe bomb) with the intention of causing harm to the security forces.
Security forces got big success
Today, a joint search operation was conducted in Parvidih hill area by DRG team, District Police Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh post and ITBP 40th Corps personnel. During the search operation, the security forces, acting with caution and prudence, recovered a total of 11 pieces of explosive dump used in the construction of claymore mines (pipe bombs) kept hidden by the Naxalites. With the timely recovery of this dump, any conspiracy of the Naxalites has been completely foiled.
