Holi celebration with adorable Govinddevji in Jaipur, court colored with Abeer-Gulal, see photos

On this auspicious occasion of Holi, a wonderful confluence of devotion, color and joy was seen in the Govinddevji temple complex. Devotees played Holi with great enthusiasm with Thakurji.
The traditional festival of Holi was celebrated with devotion and gaiety today in the court of the deity of the capital Jaipur. Rangotsav started at 10:30 am in Shri Govinddevji Temple.

Mahant Anjan Goswami first offered Holi of flowers to Thakurji, after which gulal was duly offered. The temple premises echoed with the beats of Chang and the sweet tunes of Phag songs. Devotees enjoyed this holy festival of colors with devotion and enthusiasm.
Long queues of devotees were seen since morning for darshan. The temple administration made special arrangements to keep the arrangements smooth, so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience.
There will be a partial change in the timing of darshan due to lunar eclipse on 3rd March. As per the scheduled schedule, Mangala, Dhoop, Shringar and Rajbhog Darshan will be held at regular time.
Special darshan will be available during the eclipse period from 3:15 pm to 6:50 pm. After this, regular darshan of the temple will resume from the morning of March 4.
