Hindu organizations in Bhopal caught 25 tonnes of meat at midnight, accused of being beef, driver arrested

Bhopal: Hindu organizations caught a truck full of meat in front of the police headquarters in the capital Bhopal on the intervening night of Wednesday-Thursday. Activists alleged that the meat being transported in this truck was beef. As soon as this information was received, hundreds of workers of Hindu organizations gathered in front of the police headquarters. The commotion continued for about an hour at midnight. However, as soon as information about the incident was received, the police also reached the spot.

Claims to have 25 tons of beef
Chandrashekhar Tiwari, president of Sanskriti Bachao Manch and Hindu Utsav Samiti, said, “Information was received about the workers sending beef from Bhopal to other states and then to foreign countries. After which, late at night, the workers of the organization caught a truck with Uttar Pradesh registration in front of the police headquarters. When it was searched, beef was found packed in packets. QR codes and other tags were also attached to them. After weighing the truck, it was found to be about 25 tonnes. Information about it being beef has come to light.

Hindu organizations demanded from CM
Chandrashekhar Tiwari said, “For the eighth time, Bajrang Dal and other Hindu organizations have exposed the incident of beef smuggling in the capital Bhopal, where the secretariat, assembly and police headquarters are located.” Chandrashekhar Tiwari has demanded from CM Dr. Mohan Yadav to decriminalize this truck and take action against the network related to it.

Sent the meat to the lab for testing.
Assistant CP Jahangirabad Bittu Sharma said, “The police had received information about transportation of beef in a truck through Hindu organisations. After which the policemen reached the spot and detained the truck driver Naved. Along with this, the meat has been sent to the laboratory of the State Veterinary Hospital for testing. After receiving the laboratory report, it will be clear whether the meat seized in the truck was from a cow or some other animal.
