Bhopal. This time unprecedented security and administrative strictness will be seen regarding the budget session of Madhya Pradesh Assembly starting from Monday. Madhya Pradesh Assembly Secretariat has made a major change in the arrangements and made it mandatory for parking passes to be issued once a year for the vehicles of MLAs. Now there will be no need to make a separate pass for each session, rather a pass valid for one year will be issued. This new system has been implemented on the instructions of Principal Secretary of the Assembly Arvind Sharma. The Secretariat says that this will not only simplify the process, but will also make security monitoring more effective. By making partial changes in the parking system, strict control will be maintained on the entry and movement of vehicles. Overall, this time the budget session will be conducted with security, discipline and well-organized arrangements. The Assembly complex has been converted into an almost fort-like security arrangement, so that the session can run in an orderly manner.
Complete ban on entry of bodyguards
Due to security reasons, this time the bodyguards of ministers and MLAs will not be allowed to enter the assembly building. They will be allowed only till gate number three of the parking lot. Their entry into the building and the lobby of the House will be completely prohibited. This step has been taken on the advice of security agencies. Only one personal assistant and one driver will be issued valid admit card along with the MLAs. No person will be allowed entry into the premises or the lobby of the House without an authorized entry card. There will be a ban on even bringing any unauthorized person into the premises in a vehicle.
There will be limited entry in the audience gallery
Strictness will be maintained in the audience gallery also. On the recommendation of the MLAs, only a limited number of spectators will be allowed entry. Each person will be allowed a maximum of one hour, which members will be able to decide in different time slots as per their convenience. Only two persons will be given campus admit card to enter the campus.
AC bus facility provided for MLAs
The session will run from 16 February to 6 March. During this period, two air-conditioned mini buses have been arranged to travel from the MLA rest house to the Assembly building. Buses will be available at 10.15 am and 11.45 am, while they will also operate at 2.30 pm and 3.45 pm. Buses will also be available during the intermission of the session and at the end of the meeting. Buses will operate continuously at scheduled intervals. Waiting arrangements have been made for the assistants in the shed near gate numbers one and three. In case of any inconvenience, responsibility has been entrusted to Administrative Officer Harish Srivastava.
