Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that mass marriage is the best medium for marrying sons and daughters. The prevalence of expensive marriages in the society is a matter of concern. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that he himself got his son married in a mass marriage conference in Ujjain. We must avoid unnecessary expenses in weddings. The savings generated from mass marriages can be useful in providing other facilities for the family.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav called upon the people of the state that there is a need to stop extravagance and ostentation in programs like marriages and funerals. In Sanatan culture, there are three dates every year when marriages can be performed without auspicious time. Devuthani Ekadashi, Basant Panchami and Akshaya Tritiya. Mass marriages of girls should be organized on these three dates. Mass marriages are reducing the unaccounted expenses incurred in weddings. Everyone should adopt the positive changes taking place in the society.
Pt. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the head of Bageshwar Dham government, said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is a descendant of Shri Krishna.
