Great performance of Sukma district in Bastar Olympics 2025, hoisted flag in many events

Raipur : In Bastar Olympics 2025, players of Sukma district gave a strong performance and raised the flag of the district. In the most exciting match, Sukma won the title by defeating Jagdalpur 1-0 in the final of football junior boys category. The excellent coordination and sportsmanship of the players won the hearts of the spectators.

Sukma players also achieved notable achievements in other events. Sukma won gold medal in long jump junior category. Sukma’s player also won the gold medal in the weightlifting senior boys category. In badminton, the players of the district performed excellently and won gold medals in Junior Boys Double and Senior Boys Single categories.

Talking about silver medals, the players in Badminton Junior Girls Double, Javelin Throw Junior Boys, Tawa Throw Junior Boys, Kho-Kho Senior Girls and Karate Senior Girls categories performed well and secured second position. Sukma also won the bronze medal in javelin throw junior boys category. Sukma captured 04 gold, 05 silver and 01 bronze medals on the second day of Bastar Olympics.
