Raipur : The three-day Jajwalyadev Lok Mahotsav and Agritech Agricultural Fair 2026, organized at the Government High School Ground, Janjgir and Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Jarve from 11 to 13 February in Janjgir-Champa district, concluded in the chief hospitality of Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment and Scheduled Caste Development Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb.

Jajvalya 2026 souvenir was released by the guests on the concluding occasion. Also, school students and local artists who presented cultural programs were honoured. Attractive presentations of Panthi dance and Mallakhambh were also given in the programme.

Towards prosperity through the confluence of agriculture and technology
Addressing the ceremony, Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb said that Agritech Agricultural Fair 2026 has proved to be an important platform for innovation for farmers and youth. He said that Janjgir-Champa is a rich land of agriculture, where a beautiful coordination of tradition and modern technology can be seen.
He said that the use of drone technology, modern agricultural equipment and new technologies will increase the income of farmers and will inspire the youth to become agri-entrepreneurs. He expressed confidence that the farmers of the district will move towards self-reliance by adopting technological innovations.

Emphasis on social justice and skill development
The minister said that it is the government’s resolve that no section of the society should be left behind from the mainstream. Social justice is being ensured through skill development and economic opportunities, so that the benefits of the schemes reach the last person. Highlighting the importance of modern technology, especially Artificial Intelligence, he called upon the youth to become proficient in AI and new technologies.

Continuous efforts for farmers under the leadership of Chief Minister
Praising the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, the Minister said that the state government is committed to the prosperity of the farmers. From support price of paddy to new agricultural policies, many schemes are being implemented in the interest of farmers. Besides, continuous efforts are also being made for the conservation and promotion of Chhattisgarhi folk art and culture.

Dignified presence of public representatives and officials
In the closing ceremony, Janjgir-Champa MLA Beas Kashyap, former leader of opposition Narayan Chandel, Chairman Mineral Development Corporation Saurabh Singh, District Panchayat President Eng. Many public representatives including Satyalata Anand Miri, Municipality President Mrs. Rekha Devagarhwal, former MP Mrs. Kamla Devi Patle, former MP Guharam Ajgalle were present.

Apart from this, Collector Janmejay Mahobe, Superintendent of Police Vijay Kumar Pandey, District Panchayat CEO Gokul Raote, Additional Collector Gyanendra Singh Thakur and a large number of officers, farmers and common people participated in the program.

Resolve to build developed Chhattisgarh
At the end of the program, Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb congratulated the organizers and participants for the successful organization of Jajwalyadev Lok Mahotsav and Agritech Agricultural Fair 2026 and reiterated the resolve to build a developed Chhattisgarh. This event has emerged as a symbol of coordinated development of agriculture, technology and folk culture in the state.
