Family planning got a new dimension due to expansion in health services

Raipur : On the instructions of the Health Department, Female Sterilization (LTT) was successfully organized under the family planning program under the leadership of doctors of Balrampur District Hospital. In the program, a total of 12 women were successfully sterilized through laparoscopic method in coordination with the team of Gynecology and Obstetricians Dr. Rashmi Tiwari and Dr. Animesh Singh. All the beneficiaries are safe and healthy. After a long gap, now the services of permanent means of family planning have been started on a regular weekly basis in the District Hospital Balrampur.

Under this, now LTT female sterilization of female beneficiaries will be done in the district hospital every Wednesday of the week. So far, a total of 18 women have been successfully sterilized. Apart from this, the facility of examination and treatment related to female obstetric diseases, uterus and testicles is also being provided by the specialist doctors in the district hospital through laparoscopic method. Uterine examination and necessary operations are now being done through telescopic method without any incision, due to which the patients are getting the benefit of less pain, quick recovery and safe treatment. This initiative of the government is an important step towards safe motherhood, family planning and improved health services in the district.
