Bhopal : On the sixth day of the International Forest Fair, face packs made from aloe vera, mahua, basil syrup, amla juice and bael sherbet were the center of attraction for the tourists. Tourists bought Vindhya Herbal M.F.P. Grovit, Chyawanprash, Triphala, Arjun, tea, Mahua face pack and other health medicines made in the park were purchased in large quantities. Workshops of Ayurvedic doctors and traditional Nadi Vaidyas were organized in the fair. Government Ayurvedic doctors and traditional healers from different areas of the state participated in the workshop. The fair will be concluded on Tuesday, 23rd December by Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah, Minister of Tribal Affairs, Public Asset Management, Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation and Minister of State for Forest and Environment Dilip Ahirwar at 5 pm.
The enthusiasm of the tourists towards the International Forest Fair which is nearing its end does not seem to be waning. Tourists are coming in large numbers to see Ayurvedic products, free medical consultation and attractive exhibitions. A large number of students from various Ayurvedic colleges of the capital Bhopal came as tourists to the International Forest Fair on Monday. In the Van Mela on Monday, instrumental music performances, folk singing, street plays and orchestral performances by school students continued till late evening. About 70 students from 13 schools participated in the competition. Dr. Sameeta Rajora, MD of Vanpaj Sangh, gave away prizes to the participants who secured first, second and third positions in the competitions.
