Prayagraj This time the statue of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav will not be installed in Prayagraj Magh Mela. On which the reaction of Leader of Opposition in UP Assembly Mata Prasad Pandey has come to the fore. He was to inaugurate the statue in Sangam city on January 1, but before that the fair authority has already given notice to the organisers.
Mulayam Singh Yadav Smriti Seva Sansthan is organizing a camp in Magh Mela where this statue is to be inaugurated. Mata Prasad Pade said that he had talked to the camp director Sandeep Yadav. He told that the administration has given notice that we cannot install idols, distribute milk nor keep cows. The place has been given on this condition.
Mata Prasad Pandey’s reply on the notice
The Leader of Opposition said that a reply has been given to the fair administration from our side, let’s see what will happen next? We will go there tomorrow and talk to the administration about Netaji’s resentment against the statue. There are cut outs of important people of the government. There is no difference between a cut out and a statue.
Mata Prasad Pandey said that in the last Kumbh Mela too, a lot of cut outs were put up. If Mulayam Singh’s cut outs were put up then what happened? Mulayam Singh also has lakhs of devotees who go there after taking bath, see the idol and pay their respects. Then our workers provide breakfast, water and milk, so it is not wrong.
Objection expressed on banning the statue
Every person sets up a camp in Magh Mela, when camps of sages and saints are set up, they also set up their cut outs, whether they are cut outs or idols, there is no difference between them. Don’t know what the government has thought of. There was no protest in last year’s Kumbh, now this year I don’t know why they are protesting?
Political activities take place in all religious fairs. Political people organize stages, political people set up their camps, invite their supporters there and also give speeches. Opposition leader will talk to the administration
