Jashpur: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai was on a tour of his home district Jashpur today. During this time, a different style of the Chief Minister was seen in the Mayali Nature Camp. CM Sai performed the bhoomi pujan of ‘Mayali-Bagicha Development Project’ under Swadesh Darshan Scheme here and gifted development works worth crores of rupees to the district.

Along with this, CM Sai launched various adventure sports in Mayali with the aim of establishing Jashpur on the tourism map. The CM not only inaugurated the facilities, but also tried his hand at many adventure sports. The Chief Minister himself took to the field and encouraged the tourists.
He experienced the thrill of riding an ATV. Showed off his skills in wall climbing and balloon shoot, played box cricket and also rode a trekking bicycle.
There will be a boost in the field of tourism
An amount of about Rs 10 crore has been sanctioned by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India under the CBDD sub-scheme under Swadesh Darshan Scheme 2.0 for the Mayali-Bagicha Development Project. This project will be developed near Mayali Dam keeping in mind the natural beauty and religious importance of Madheshwar mountain.
There is immense potential for tourism in the state of Chhattisgarh and Jashpur district is especially known for its natural beauty. The rivers, waterfalls, mountains, valleys, dense forests and rich tribal and rural culture here have been continuously attracting tourists. Keeping these possibilities in mind, special efforts are being made for tourism development in Jashpur area. Tourist resort and skill development center will be developed under the project. Along with this, work related to tourism development will also be done in the cave temple and Kailash cave (garden) area located below Madheshwar mountain, which will promote religious and natural tourism.
