There was a lot of uproar in Disha’s meeting in Dungarpur district of Rajasthan. A heated argument took place between BJP MP from Udaipur Mannalal Rawat and BAP MP from Banswara Rajkumar Rot. The conversation between the two reached Tu-Tu-Main-Main and the atmosphere heated up within no time. Seeing the argument between the two leaders, the security personnel had to intervene.
After this, BAP MLA from Aspur Umesh Damor threatened MP Mannalal Rawat and warned him to come out if there is a fight. After this, the administrative officers calmed down the matter by convincing both the leaders.
Accused of raising issues beyond the agenda
At the beginning of Disha’s meeting, BAP MP Rajkumar Roat started raising issues of the state government by moving away from the agenda. On this, BJP MP Mannalal Rawat started talking about presenting the issues of central government schemes in Disha’s meeting as per the agenda. An argument started between the two regarding this.
MP Rajkumar Roat said that I am the chairman of the meeting and every problem of the area which is related to the public can be discussed here. The debate escalated further when Roat alleged that Mannalal Rawat had only come to spoil the atmosphere and did not want the development of Dungarpur. The controversy did not stop here.
Mannalal Rawat called himself a representative of being threatened
When Mannalal Rawat described himself as an ‘elected public representative who is being threatened’, Aspur MLA Umesh Damor also jumped into the debate. Tu-tu, main-main started between MLA Damor and MP Rawat. The matter escalated so much that MLA Umesh Damor even threatened MP Mannalal to come out if he wanted to fight.
Due to this high-voltage drama which lasted for about 15 minutes, the atmosphere of the meeting became completely heated. Due to this the security personnel had to intervene and save him. Other members and administrative officials present in the House pacified both the parties after a lot of effort. Only after intervention could the proceedings of the meeting resume smoothly.
