Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav met the intelligentsia of Barwani district on the occasion of the first agriculture cabinet held in Nagalwadi on Monday. He heard the experiences of Lakhpati Didis of NRLM, national players and advanced farmers of Barwani district and wished them all the best. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while meeting the intellectuals, said that the state government is providing help through public welfare schemes for the progress of all sections of the society including women, villagers, farmers, sportspersons.

Seema Nargave Drone Didi of village Bhagsur of Barwani district told Chief Minister Dr. Yadav in Nimari that by joining the self-help group of Rural Livelihood Mission, she took training in organic farming and drone operation. Now she is teaching other women to do organic farming. Drone Didi Seema told that by joining the self-help group, her income has not only increased but she has also got a new identity. Seema told that she sprays fertilizers and pesticides in the fields through drones in the village, due to which the work that used to take hours is now being done in minutes and she is also getting regular income.

While discussing with Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, national hockey player Susaneha Mohania told that she has got 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal at the national level. Sneha requested Chief Minister Dr. Yadav to provide the facility of Astro-Turf in Barwani, which he accepted and assured to provide this facility.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also discussed air rifle shooting with national player Suvaishnavi Mahule, resident of Julwania. He gave instructions to the officers present to get Suvaishnavi trained in the state level shooting academy. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also announced to give incentive amount of Rs 5 lakh to trainer Neeraj, who is running the Shooting Club Training Center in Julwania, for his commendable work in training girls.

Advanced farmer Mahesh Patidar, resident of village Ghatwa in Barwani district, told Chief Minister Dr. Yadav about his product “Jaggery Tea”. Patidar told that he has done P.M.F.M.E. A loan of Rs 28 lakh was taken under the scheme. In this he has also received a grant of Rs 10 lakh. Presently Patidar is selling 500 quintal packets of “Jaggery Tea” annually. His target is to sell one thousand quintal packets of “Jaggery Tea” every year in the future. Patidar told that his jaggery tea packets are also available for sale on Amazon and other online platforms.

Amol Mahajan of Barwani district also told Chief Minister Dr. Yadav about his business of banana production and said that earlier he used to work in America, later he left the job and started a start-up of banana production in his own country. Today their bananas are being exported to many countries of the world including Dubai, Iran and Iraq. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav praised Mahajan’s achievement.
