Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that development is taking place at a fast pace everywhere in the state. Only through balanced development of rural and urban areas, we are moving rapidly towards making Madhya Pradesh self-reliant. We have made development the basis of nation building, we are taking the state forward with the same resolve. The development work being done in the state will create a new center of education, tourism and basic facilities in the coming times. The aim of the state government is that the benefits of development should reach the last person. Madhya Pradesh government is committed towards development and in the coming time, development work will be done more rapidly in the area. He also mentioned the work being done in the honor of tribal hero Tantya Mama and informed about the decision to celebrate Bhagoria Utsav as a national festival. Giving a gift to Mahugaon, he announced to build a new hospital with 100 beds here and to give the status of municipality to Mahugaon Municipal Council.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was addressing the inauguration and bhoomi pujan program of various development works worth Rs 85 crore in Mahugaon under Mhow assembly constituency of Indore district on Sunday. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav unveiled the statue of national sage Nanaji Deshmukh and also inaugurated the Nanaji Deshmukh tourist spot developed at a cost of Rs 4.50 crore. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated Sandipani Government Model Higher Secondary School, Mhow, built at a cost of Rs 38 crore and Chandrashekhar Azad Sarovar (Kakadpura Pond) Park and Ghat, built at a cost of Rs 1 crore, and also toured the entire area.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, remembering the national sage Nanaji Deshmukh, said that he was not just a politician but a great seeker of social change. He dedicated his entire life to rural development, education and self-reliance. Nanaji Deshmukh believed that the soul of India resides in the villages, and only when the villages are strong will the nation become strong. The development models established by him are still a source of inspiration for the entire country.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Mhow area is very important from historical, spiritual and industrial point of view. This area is the birthplace of Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, while the nearby Janapav mountain is also famous as the birthplace of Lord Parshuram. Mhow area has also been the workplace of Krantisurya Tatya Mama. For this reason, this entire area has taken the form of a pilgrimage city. Today there has been rapid industrial development in Mhow and surrounding areas. There was a feeling of pride seeing industries, colleges, schools and development works all around. He congratulated the citizens of the area for their participation in development. He said that knowledge of weapons and scriptures for self-defense has been our ancient tradition.

Giving information about the schemes and programs run for the welfare of women, youth, poor and farmers, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this is rapidly bringing positive changes in the lives of these sections. The state government is empowering women economically through Ladli Brahmin Yojana. In this scheme, the amount has increased from Rs 1000 to Rs 1500 and further decisions will be taken in the interest of women. He also mentioned initiatives like Ayushman Yojana, treatment assistance for road accident victims, air ambulance facility and giving guard of honor to organ donors. Giving information about Sandipani schools, he said that through these schools, children are being provided quality education with modern facilities, which includes all dimensions of sports, studies and skill development. He informed that from the coming session, a scheme to provide milk to students of classes 1 to 8 in government schools will be started. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the work on Mhow-Khandwa rail line will also be completed soon and rail services will also be expanded to promote tourism in the area.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also performed Bhoomi Pujan of various construction works. These include new drinking water line under Amrit 2.0 scheme at a cost of Rs 14.44 crore, water management scheme under Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0 at a cost of Rs 7.52 crore, construction of Mhow-Neemuch road at a cost of Rs 10.40 crore, construction of ghat at Mahugaon Muktidham at a cost of Rs 2 crore, construction of community hall at a cost of Rs 1.03 crore, Gaikwad intersection at a cost of Rs 2.50 crore. Construction of road from Mahugaon School to Mahugaon School and construction of Gaushala Road at a cost of Rs 1.51 crore are included. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performed Kanya Puja in the program. He also distributed benefits to the beneficiaries under various schemes.

Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development Savitri Thakur said that women are being economically empowered in Madhya Pradesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. All-round development of the state is taking place. Welfare works of every class are being done. The income of farmers is being increased. On the other hand, new employment opportunities are being provided to the youth. The industrial development of the state has also been at a fast pace. Ayushman Yojana is working effectively in the field of health.

MLA Suusha Thakur gave information about the work being done in Mhow assembly constituency and said that new dimensions are being given to development in Mhow area. There is immense potential for tourism in Mhow area. Tourism is being promoted rapidly in this area. Referring to Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, Lord Parshuram and Jannayak Tatya Mama, he said that this land is blessed with these great personalities. Considering them as ideals, a new direction is being given to the development of the area. Giving information about the works dedicated and Bhoomi Pujan done in Mahugaon area, he said that these works will be helpful in bringing a radical change in the development of the area.

On this occasion, Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silavat, MP Sukvita Patidar, District Panchayat President Reena Satish Malviya, Madhu Verma, Gaurav Ranadive and Shravan Chavda, Kanchan Singh Chauhan, Collector Shivam Verma, Superintendent of Police Rural Suyangchen Bhutia, District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Siddharth Jain and other administrative officers, public representatives and a large number of local citizens were present.
