Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that sisters are Lakshmi, Annapurna of Madhya Pradesh, whatever we do for them is less. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government is always determined for the welfare of women. The place of women in Sanatan culture is paramount. Before the holy festival of Maha Shivratri, the dear sisters of the state are getting a wonderful gift of honorarium of Rs 1500. There is no dearth in the government’s treasury to empower the sisters economically. The state government is standing with the sisters at every step for their welfare. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that our priority in the Farmer Welfare Year is that the sisters should get training, they should be connected to self-help groups and they should get the right price for their hard work. The sisters are increasing their income by joining Ek Bagiya Maa Ka Naam Yojana and self-help groups. Along with Lakhpati Didi, our sisters are also becoming Drone Didi. He said that till now 62 lakh sisters have become self-reliant through 5 lakh self-help groups operating in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the public at Pandhana in Khandwa district on Saturday after gifting the 33rd installment of the scheme to the beloved sisters. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav transferred Rs 1836 crore to the accounts of more than 1.25 crore beloved sisters of the state with a single click. Under this scheme, till now an amount of Rs 52,304 crore has been given to the beloved sisters. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp after Kanya Puja and showered flowers on the beloved sisters and took their blessings for the welfare of the state.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performed Bhoomi Pujan and inaugurated 13 development works worth more than Rs 608 crore for the all-round development of Khandwa. This includes bhoomi pujan of development works costing Rs 255 crore and inauguration of 11 development works costing Rs 353.82 crore. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also inaugurated the Bham Irrigation Project, Ayushman Arogya Mandir, Laboratory and the new Government Sandipani School of Pandhana built at a cost of Rs 301 crore in Khandwa district.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Indian culture is women-oriented. If mothers and sisters get money at home, they invest it in the happiness and prosperity of the family. Our government is continuously working to change the lives of sisters. If the state government works in cotton based industry, they will be given a separate amount of Rs 5,000 per month. He said that daughters of poor and needy families are getting married under the Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana. Under the mass Kanyadaan scheme, an amount of Rs 55 thousand is given per couple. Marriage ceremony is the biggest sacrament among the 16 rituals of Sanatan culture. This is a ritual of immortality in the family. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is making arrangements for free coaching for the daughters of eligible beneficiary families, so that they can bring glory to the state and the family by studying. He said that an amount of Rs 111 crore is also being continuously sent to 25 lakh sisters of the state under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Gas Scheme. Under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, an amount of Rs 385 crore has been given to more than 7 lakh beneficiary sisters of the state.
Women’s participation in farming will strengthen the economy
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government has declared the year 2026 as the Farmer Welfare Year. Animal husbandry and milk production are being encouraged to increase the income of farmers. A target has been set to increase milk production in the state from 9 percent to 20 percent. Farmers have got the benefit of Bhavantar Yojana. Support price of wheat will also be Rs 2700 per quintal. The stronger the participation of women in farming, the stronger will be the village, farmer families and the economy of the state. He said that the survey is being conducted again for the PM Awas Yojana, so that the deprived eligible beneficiaries can also get permanent houses. The state government is providing pure drinking water to every village through the Tap Water Scheme.
Nimar will emerge as a wonderful center of religious tourism
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Khandwa is the land of Dada Dhuniwale Dada, Kranti Surya Jananayak Tantya Mama and famous singer Kishore Kumar. The state government established a university in Khargone in the name of Tantya Mama. Besides, programs have also been prepared to honor tribal great men. Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar is the identity of Malwa and Nimand region. He gave grandeur to many temples including Kashi Vishwanath of Varanasi. Very soon a new railway line will be started between Khandwa to Omkareshwar and Omkareshwar-Indore. Nimar’s connectivity with Indore and Delhi-Mumbai will increase. Nimar region will also prosper with industrial development. Development works are being done at a cost of Rs 300 crore to develop Baba Mamleshwar Dham (Omkareshwar). After the completion of the development works of Ekatm Dham, Statue of Oneness, Sant Singaji Dham, Nimar region will emerge as a wonderful center of religious tourism. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced transfer of Sukta Micro Irrigation Project to Khandwa district, Onion Processing Unit in āOne District-One Productā scheme in Pandhana and transfer of Pandhana Pond to Municipal Council in the Farmer Welfare Year.
Khandwa MP Shri Dnyaneshwar Patil said that the work of Khandwa Lift Irrigation Project costing Rs 1526 crore is going on in Pandhana Assembly. With this, farmers of many villages will benefit from irrigation facilities. The farmers of the state are becoming prosperous under the double engine government. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performed Bhoomi Pujan and gifted new sewerage project, bus stand, shopping complex and night shelter in Pandhana to Khandwa Municipal Corporation. MLA Smt. Chhaya Govind More said that with Pandhana getting the gift of a new irrigation project, farmers will get irrigation facilities and their income will increase. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the development of Khandwa is getting a new direction. Onion is well cultivated in Pandhana assembly.
