Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Madhya Pradesh has become the food basket of the country. It has been resolved to make Madhya Pradesh the leading state of the country in the field of agriculture, food processing and pulses production. The state government is preparing a new model of development by taking farmers, industry and business together. The state government is ready to provide all possible support to farmers and traders at every level, be it land or machinery, for expanding their activities. In the Farmer Welfare Year, the state government has set a target of doubling the income of farmers. The state government has removed mandi tax from tur, this will benefit the pulses mill industry. Relief on urad and lentil is also being considered. He said that pulses have special importance in our daily life. Idioms were created on moong and lentils. We get protein from pulses. It is a matter of pride that India is the world’s largest pulse producer and consumer country. Pulses are the biggest source of protein in vegetarian culture. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the program under Grain-X India Exhibition of All India Pulse Mill Association in Indore.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the production of milk and pulses crops is being promoted in the state to increase the income of farmers. A target has been set to increase milk production from 9 percent to 20 percent. A scheme to give bonus will soon be prepared to increase the production of lentil and urad in the state. Along with this, emphasis is also being laid on food processing. This will benefit farmers as well as entrepreneurs, every possible help will be provided to encourage industry and trade in Indore. Madhya Pradesh is in the center of the country, it has very good connectivity by road, rail and air. Efforts are underway towards the development of air cargo in the state, which will give impetus to business expansion. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a workshop of state government representatives along with entrepreneurs, machine manufacturers, exporters, traders, farmers, etc. related to pulse mill will be organized in Bhopal soon.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, a unique image of India has been created in the world. The world decides its policies on the basis of India’s budget. Now times have changed. The Government of India is not affected by any tariff. Annadata farmers are the top priority for Prime Minister Modi. The government will not compromise in any way with the interests of farmers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a target of economically empowering the country in 4 categories ā poor, farmers (farmers), youth and women. The state government is working for the development of all sections. He said that the government has prepared a roadmap for the next 5 years for farmer welfare. Giving encouragement to everyone, it has been resolved to double the state budget in 5 years at a growth rate of 15 percent. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that he will implement public welfare schemes and make the state economically prosperous. He said that our state ranks second in food grain production in the country. The state’s GDP in agriculture sector is 39 percent and our agriculture growth rate is around 16 percent. Madhya Pradesh is at the leading position in oilseed crops including wheat, gram and lentils. Today Madhya Pradesh is making its special identity in all the sectors like dairy, animal husbandry, fish production, flower production, vegetables and fruits.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav asked the industrialists who came to the program from other states to establish industries in Madhya Pradesh. Our government will provide support in every way starting from land, machines and reducing taxes. All investors are welcome on the soil of the state. The State Government organized Regional Industry Conclaves at divisional level to encourage small-cottage industries and MSMEs, road shows to attract investments in other states. Implemented new policies for industrial development. Madhya Pradesh government has also transferred more than Rs 5500 crore to entrepreneurs through Direct Bank Transfer (DBT) for industrial promotion.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is providing electricity, water and land to the industrialists. Apart from this, the government is providing incentive amount of Rs 5000 per worker per month for 10 years to the entrepreneurs for setting up employment-oriented industries to help in the salary of the workers. The state government has simplified labor laws. The dues of the workers of Hukumchand Mill of Indore have been paid to them. The state government is standing with everyone including industrialists and workers at every step.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the farmers’ welfare year, the state government will provide fair prices to the farmers for their produce. For this, food processing activities are being increased in the state. Besides, emphasis is being laid on starting food parks and new grain markets in the districts. The state government will also provide all facilities to industrialists to develop food parks. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar earned fame across the country through her good governance and public welfare. He did the work of renovating the Deva places demolished during the Mughal period.
Water Resources Minister Silavat said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the state government is making continuous efforts for industrial development and prosperity of the farmers of the state. The state has received huge industrial investment from India and abroad. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has dedicated the year 2026 to farmers’ welfare. This has strengthened the economy of the state. He said that Indore has led the pulses industry in the country for many years. President of All India Dal Mill Association, Suresh Aggarwal said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has promoted the pulse industry.
Three-day exhibition inaugurated
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the three-day exhibition Green Ax of All India Dal Mill Association. He also visited the exhibition. Pulse milling, spice machinery, flour mill, rice mill and other state-of-the-art technical equipment have been displayed in the exhibition. In this exhibition, modern machines from various cities of India including Canada, Turkey, Taiwan, Spain, Britain, China, England have also been displayed.
On this occasion, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava, MLAs Ramesh Mendola and Golu Shukla, former Mayor Krishnamurari Moghe, Sumit Mishra, Gaurav Randive, All India Dal Mill Association President Suresh Aggarwal, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Sudam Khade, Police Commissioner Santosh Kumar Singh, Collector Shivam Verma and Municipal Corporation Commissioner Kshitij Singhal were also present.

Before the program, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reached Swaminarayan Temple and offered darshan. Other public representatives should also be present along with him.
