-Install the idols of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi on a platform covered with yellow cloth.
-Offer yellow flowers, yellow fruits, rice grains, incense and lamp to the deity.
-Bathe Lord Vishnu with Panchamrit (a mixture of milk, curd, ghee, honey and sugar). Remember to include Tulsi leaves in the Prasad, because Lord Vishnu does not accept Prasad without Tulsi.
-Chant the mantra “Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevay” and read or listen to the Jaya Tritiya Vrat Katha.
