New Guinness World Record created for reciting shloka together during birth celebration.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the land of Gujarat is working to connect religion, spirituality, Sanatani tradition, human welfare and service values with the consciousness of many nations including India. From this land, personalities like Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel once contributed to the nation, while now Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah are taking this tradition forward. Today, the construction of traditional Hindu temples of Swami Narayan Akshar Dham in Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and America and more than 600 temples in many countries of the world is notable. The creation of scripture-based texts like Satsang Diksha and the creation of thousands of service-oriented young saints are giving heights to the Sanatan tradition. It is a matter of pride that the roots of Mahant Swami Maharaj’s life journey are also connected to Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the program organized on the 92nd birth anniversary of respected Mahant Swami Maharaj in Vadodara, Gujarat on Monday after receiving his darshan and blessings. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated Swamiji on his birthday and wished him to turn centenarian and expressed hope that in the coming years, the birth centenary celebrations of Swamiji will be organized in a more grand form. Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel was also present in the program.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Vadodara is not a city but a symbol of cultural consciousness where there is a long tradition of service with devotion. The message of the Guru is being spread from this earth, which is expressed in the lives of Lord Swami Narayan and respected Mahant Swamiji. This stream showering nectar will flow continuously. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Saint Vrind resides in the form of God. Their collective presence is like many flowers blooming together in a garden. He enlightens children with his teachings. Certainly these children will work to enliven Indian culture. The children who are being initiated are also worthy of greetings and congratulations.
New record created for collective recitation of Sanskrit verses
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav termed the 92nd birth anniversary celebration of Mahant Swami Maharaj as an achievement when 15 thousand 666 children recited 315 verses of the book ‘Satsang Deeksha’ written by Swamiji. A new Guinness World Record has also been created for this activity. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Patel received blessings from Mahant Swami Maharaj for public welfare. Swamiji greeted both the Chief Ministers with garlands. In the programme, a drama focusing on the amazing glory and life of Shri Gunatitananda Swami was staged. In this, information about the social and religious works of Gunatitanand Swami was given through the character of King Shri Bhagwat Singh of Gond Empire. Earlier, when Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reached Vadodara International Airport, Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Patel warmly welcomed him.
