Rape of minor in industrial town Pithampur, case registered against 45 year old accused

Pithampur. A case of rape of a minor has come to light in the industrial town Pithampur. A 45-year-old middle-aged man is accused of threatening, raping and killing a minor. Police have registered the case and started investigation. Sub Inspector Chandni Singar said that the minor victim had reached Pithampur police station with her family members on Wednesday evening. The victim said in the complaint that on 23 February 2026, a middle-aged man named Bhola alias Gyanendra, who lived near her rented room, found her alone and called her to his room.

After calling her into the room, the accused closed the door and raped her. When the victim protested, the accused threatened to kill her. The minor victim was very nervous after the incident. Two days later, on February 25, the victim narrated the entire incident to her mother. After this the family members went to the accused youth’s room to meet him, but he was not found there. Then the family reached the police station with the minor victim. Based on the statement of the minor victim, the police have registered a case under serious sections. Medical test of the victim has been done and her statement will be recorded before the competent authority. The police have formed a team to search for the accused Bhola. Police say that information is being collected about the accused. The accused is said to be a resident of Narsinghpur and will be arrested soon.
