On this day, the foundation stone of Kota-Bundi Greenfield Airport as well as drinking water and irrigation projects worth Rs 4600 crore will be laid. Preparations regarding this have intensified at the administrative and political level.
In connection with the preparations for the foundation stone laying ceremony, Energy Minister Hiralal Nagar held a meeting with the officials on Sunday and reviewed the arrangements related to the program. He gave necessary instructions on points related to stage, security, traffic and public facilities. After this, the program was also discussed in separate meetings of BJP city and rural units. Kota South MLA Sandeep Sharma, City District President Rakesh Jain and Rural President Prem Gochar and other officials were present in the meetings.
Air connectivity will get strength
Energy Minister Nagar said that Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Union Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu will participate in the program to be held on March 7. During this, the foundation stone of Kota-Bundi Greenfield Airport will be formally laid. This airport will be helpful in improving the air connectivity of the region in future.
Naunera and Parvan will get wings
In the same programme, Bhoomi Pujan of water and irrigation projects worth Rs 4600 crore will also be performed. Under Jal Jeevan Mission, Rs 1100 crore Naunera project and Rs 3500 crore Parvan project will be started. These schemes are expected to provide relief to issues related to drinking water supply and agricultural irrigation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s video message will also be broadcast during the program.
Districts around Kota will get big benefits
Kota South MLA Sandeep Sharma said that due to the schemes of the Central and State Government, development work is continuously progressing in the area. City District President Rakesh Jain said that due to the efforts of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, the obstacles related to the airport project were removed. This program to be held on March 7 is being considered an important step towards development for Kota and surrounding areas.
