Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated Lord Pashupatinath Lok in Mandsaur on Thursday. In the first phase, Lok has been constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 25 crore. On the occasion of inauguration, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav first reached Pashupatinath temple and offered prayers as per the rituals. He visited the photo exhibition displaying the past and present condition of the temple in the temple premises.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav worshiped Lord Pashupatinath in the form of a silver statue in a palanquin in the temple premises. The Chief Minister visited Pashupatinath Lok in an e-cart and appreciated its grandeur. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav unveiled the 22 feet high Trinetra Rudrakani. The Rudraksha installed in its center gives a divine impression of the three-eyed form of Lord Shiva. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the Yagya with chanting of mantras at the Yagyashala located in the AMFI Theater complex.

Pashupatinath Lok is the main center of faith of Mandsaur, which has been made more grand. Situated near the flowing water stream of Shivna River, this world has become more attractive and charming than ever before. Smooth movement of devotees has been ensured through four entry gates.

Keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees, an open air theater has been constructed in Pashupatinath Lok, where cultural and theater programs can be organised. A waiting room has been arranged so that the number of devotees does not face inconvenience. A first aid room has also been created for emergency situations. In the temple premises, attractive mural wall based on Shiva-Leelas and paintings based on the history of Pashupatinath Mahadev statue provide spiritual experience to the devotees.

Satsang Bhavan, garden, Shiv Pillar, mural wall, selfie point and well-organized pathways have been constructed in Pashupatinath Lok, due to which the entire complex has developed into a pilgrimage city.

In the inauguration program, Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Deora, Regional MP Sudhir Gupta, Rajya Sabha MP Banshilal Gurjar, District Panchayat President Durga Vijay Patidar, Mandsaur MLA Vipin Jain, Suwasra MLA Hardeep Singh Dang, Garoth MLA Chander Singh Sisodia, District Planning Committee member Rajesh Dixit, former MLA Yashpal Singh Sisodia, Tourism Secretary Dilip Kumar Yadav, Collector Aditi Garg and Superintendent of Police Vinod Kumar Meena and a large number of officials were present. Devotees were present.
