In this he has appealed to PM Modi not to visit Israel. Maulana said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has massacred the Muslims of Gaza. The International Court has issued a verdict against Netanyahu and issued an arrest warrant. Corruption cases are going on against Netanyahu in the Supreme Court of Israel itself. Therefore, Prime Minister Modi should not visit Israel. Maulana has written in the letter that at present there is a situation of war between America and Iran. India’s Sunni and Shia Muslims sympathize with Iran and Iran has good relations with India.
PM should reconsider his visit to Israel – Maulana
Maulana wrote in the letter that ever since you (Narendra Modi) became the Prime Minister till today, you have maintained good relations with Muslim countries and Arab countries. This is the reason why Muslim countries gave you the highest respect. India has always supported Palestine and India has old relations with Palestine. Your visit to Israel will cause pain and suffering to the citizens of all these Muslim countries and especially Palestine. Therefore the Prime Minister should reconsider his visit. Maulana wrote at the end of the letter that you are requested to reconsider your trip to Israel in view of the situation. We are saying these things because the Muslims of India like you. Your image is clean in all the countries of the world. In such a situation, meeting Netanyahu may have a negative impact on your image.
