Nowadays, the trend of bringing greenery in almost every house has increased. People like to make the house beautiful and fresh by planting small and big plants in the balcony, terrace or courtyard. Plants not only make the environment pleasant but also give peace to the mind. Seeing greenery in the morning and evening reduces stress and gives a feeling of belonging in the house, but very few people know that there is a right way and right direction for planting trees, if the plants are planted in the wrong place or in the wrong way, they can have the opposite effect. Many times the lighting in the house decreases, humidity increases or the energy balance gets disturbed. This is the reason why special rules have been prescribed for plants and gardens in Vaastu.
Planting right plants in the right direction keeps the atmosphere of the house light and positive, whereas heavy or thorny plants in the wrong place can increase problems. Therefore, if you are thinking of planting a garden or plants in your house, then it will be very beneficial to know some easy Vastu rules. Astrologer Anshul Tripathi is telling about this.
Vastu rules for planting plants in the house
-While planting plants inside or around the house, it is considered good to keep in mind the time and direction. It is believed that if plants are planted on an auspicious day or around the full moon, their growth is better and the environment also remains good.
Instead of planting small plants directly in the ground, it is considered better to prepare them in pots first. When the plant becomes strong, then shift it into the ground. Due to this the plant gets established quickly and remains green.
-Planting a Tulsi plant at home is considered very auspicious. It is always good to keep it in the north, north-east or east direction. Tulsi can also be kept in the courtyard in front of the house, but keep in mind that no tree should be right in front of the main door. This affects the entry energy.
-If big plants or trees are to be planted in the house, then it is considered good to plant them in pairs. This maintains balance and the place also looks balanced.
Vastu rules for planting trees near the house
-Big trees should always be planted in the south or west direction of the house. These directions are considered heavy, so big trees maintain balance here.
-It is considered good to keep the North, North-East and East directions light and open. Planting big trees here can block light and make the house feel heavy.
It is not considered right to plant a tree near the house or sticking it to the wall. This reduces sunlight and may increase moisture in the walls. The roots of large trees can also damage the foundation.
-One more thing to keep in mind is that the shadow of the tree should not fall on the house throughout the day. Light shade is fine, but continuous shade can make the atmosphere of the house dull and cold.
