The Directorate of Public Instruction has issued an order regarding this. The old instructions have been canceled with immediate effect. After this order, the sword of action hanging over 70 thousand guest teachers of the School Education Department has been removed for now.
Order issued on February 20 canceled
The government had implemented the rule that the services of any guest teacher who remains absent for 7 consecutive days will be removed from Education Portal 3.0. But after continuous protests by guest teachers, the government came on the back foot. After which the Directorate of Public Instruction canceled its order issued on 20 February. Now separate guidelines will be issued on Education Portal 3.0.
Guest teachers welcomed the decision
About 70 thousand guest teachers have got relief from this decision of the government. Guest teachers have welcomed the government’s decision. The order was issued by the School Education Department on 20 February. It was said that if the guest teacher does not register e-attendance for 7 consecutive days, his services will be terminated. Therefore, it was made mandatory for guest teachers to register their attendance through e-attendance.
