Raipur : As per the wish of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, basic structures are being strengthened in the mining affected forest areas of Raigarh district. 14 road construction and repair works are in progress at a cost of Rs 32 crore 12 lakh 21 thousand from the District Mineral Trust, due to which the remote and tribal dominated villages of Dharamjaigarh, Tamnar, Gharghoda, Lailunga and Kharsia development blocks will get all-year connectivity facility.
Semipali-Kondra, Saskoba-Paraghati and Pusalda-Chitapali roads in Dharamjaygarh; Other routes including Patrapali-Barkaspali, Amlidhodha-Samkera Gaurabahari in Tamnar; Tumidih-Chharratangar and Kudumkela-Puri in Gharghoda; The construction work of Gahnajharia-Sukwasupara to Labhanipara in Lailunga and Khadgaon-Godpar Basti road in Kharsia is in progress.
Collector Mayank Chaturvedi inspected the Patrapali-Barkaspali road under Tamnar development block and gave instructions to complete the road construction work with full quality within the time limit. He also instructed the officers to ensure adherence to technical standards and quality check of materials. With the completion of these roads, access to education, health, markets and emergency services will be easy and the socio-economic development of the villagers will get a new direction.
