Piparwar Mob Violence Case : In Chirayatand Kichto village of Piparwar police station area, a person was beaten severely by the villagers on suspicion of child theft. The incident happened around 8 pm. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and rescued the injured from the clutches of the mob.
The injured person was first taken to Bachra Regional Hospital. Seeing his condition serious after first aid, he was referred to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi. At present his treatment is continuing in police custody.
Video viral, doubt over identity

However, regarding the address, he was sometimes saying that he was a resident of Ramgarh and sometimes of Hazaribagh, which increased the suspicion.

Officials say that his identity and background will be investigated first. It will also be clarified whether any real incident of child theft took place or the matter is just a rumour.
Police have appealed to the people not to believe in rumors and to report immediately in case of any suspicious situation. A warning has also been given of action against those who take law into their own hands.
