Jabalpur : People in the country are rapidly moving towards vegetarianism, India is already the country with the highest number of vegetarians in the world. Now the Jain community of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh is taking a big initiative to make people aware. The Panchayat of Jain community of Jabalpur has decided that non-veg hotels in the city will be completely boycotted. No wedding or any kind of event will be organized in such hotels or wedding processions where both veg and non-veg are served.
New rules regarding Jain weddings
A religious event of Jain community is going on in the Telecom Factory grounds of Jabalpur. People from Jabalpur and many areas of Madhya Pradesh have reached Jabalpur to participate in this program. These decisions regarding Jain weddings have been taken during this program. It has been decided that the certification of Veg Hotel will also be done by the Jain community. Along with this, wedding ceremonies will be held during the day and choreographers will not be called for women’s sangeet. It is being said that this model will be implemented across the country.
Where killing a living being, eating or marrying is a sin
In this event, Jain monk Praman Sagar ji was answering the questions of the common people. During this time, the question came that if vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is prepared in the same kitchen in the hotels where we eat, then should we eat vegetarian food there? Praman Sagar Ji Maharaj said, ”One should never eat food at such a place.” After this the question arose whether a wedding should be organized at such a place? In response to this too, Praman Sagar ji said, “Marriage is a religious event and it should not be held at a place where living beings are being killed.” Even in Hindu religion, all the saints have been emphasizing on the fact that in a house, place or hotel where vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is prepared together, one should not eat there even by mistake, such food is similar to non-vegetarian food.
Oath against non-vegetarian hotels and wedding processions
10 thousand people of Jain community have taken an oath together that no one will get married in the hotels where vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is prepared together in the kitchens of wedding houses and this rule will soon be implemented in the entire country.
There is no choreographer in women’s music, marriage in the day
In the same event, an oath was also taken that Jain weddings would no longer be organized at night but during the day. Muni Praman Sagar ji has also appealed to the people that now choreographers should not be called in women’s sangeet, rather women’s sangeet should be organized in the traditional manner with simplicity and dance.
