According to Vastu scientists, the picture of Hanuman ji should be placed looking towards the south because Hanuman ji has shown his influence mostly in this direction as Lanka is in the south, the search for Sita Mata started from the south, the burning of Lanka and the war between Ram and Ravana also took place in this direction. Hanuman ji is especially powerful in the south direction.
Similarly, if Hanuman ji’s picture is placed in the north direction, Hanuman ji stops every negative power coming from the south direction. According to Vastu, this brings happiness and prosperity in the house and Hanuman ji stops every evil force coming from the south direction.
