AjmerRajasthan Agriculture Minister Dr. Kirori Lal Meena, during his visit to Ajmer, gave open statements regarding current politics, reservation, Samravata scandal, Congress rule, association with RSS and his political struggles. He said that today’s politics has become completely commercial. People are coming into politics not for service but for the purpose of doing business, whereas their feeling from the beginning has been to serve the public.Dr. Kirori Lal Meena said that he had gone to jail to meet the children arrested in the Samravata case, for which he was also scolded. He was told that while being a minister, he should not meet criminals. On this he clearly said that taking care of the brothers and sisters of the society in times of crisis is the biggest religion. If you don’t support us at such a time, there can be no bigger sin than that. He may be scolded or lose his ministerial post, but he will stand with the people of his community. The Agriculture Minister assured that he will neither look after the party nor the region in any work. He said that whenever anyone is in need, he will always be ready to serve. He also said that his aim is not to get a position in politics, but his aim is to serve the public.Dr. Referring to his political journey, Kirori said that he has been a volunteer of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh since a young age. There was emergency during the time of college, the Sangh was banned and he too had to go to jail along with big leaders. Despite this he never left the party. He said that at one time Vasundhara Raje had expelled him from the party and the ticket was also canceled, but today both are again in the same party. Referring to the 2009 Dausa Lok Sabha election, he said that the Election Commission had made unprecedented security arrangements in that election. Army was deployed at various places, airplanes and drones were deployed in the sky, but despite this, the people of Dausa elected him as an independent MP with the highest number of votes. He said that in that election, the deposits of candidates of both BJP and Congress were confiscated, which was a big event in the political history of Rajasthan. Regarding reservation, the Agriculture Minister clearly said that as long as there is life in his body, no one can harm the reservation. He said that the talk of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ending reservation is just a rumour. He gave a clear message from the Ajmer meeting that he would not make any kind of compromise on the issue of reservation. Targeting the Congress, Kirori Lal Meena said that during the Congress rule, he was put in jail, tortured and physically tortured. They can never join a group which has committed grave crimes and insults against them. He said that he can live without politics, but cannot go to the Congress which tried to break him. He also mentioned the RPSC paper leak case and said that during the Congress government, he himself had entered the RPSC office and questioned the chairman. During that time he was also arrested, but after the change of government, many RPSC members including 63 police station officers were sent to jail. He alleged that senior officials were also involved in this entire matter and it was wrong to target only the tribals. The Agriculture Minister also spoke on social issues. He said that mothers and sisters are the biggest universities for inculcating values in children. It is a big responsibility of the society to handle the decline in children. At the same time, on the ongoing dispute with Hanuman Beniwal, he said that this is a family matter and if the matter arises, he is also ready for talks.
